Common Questions

Are there any software costs beyond the training?

Most traders can use free software. Depending on your broker and preferences, the maximum cost for the tools we use is about $99 per month, though most stay at $0.

What types of option trades can be automated?

You'll learn to automate strategies such as vertical credit spreads, vertical debit spreads, iron condors, butterflies, and long options. We do not cover time spreads (calendars or diagonals) or naked short puts or calls.

Which brokers are supported?

We'll cover setup and examples for Schwab/TOS, TradeStation, Tradier, and Tastytrade.

Can I use bots to trade stocks as well as options?

Yes. You'll see how to use bots for stocks, stock options, ETF options and index options with the same simple rule-based structure.

Do I need to know how to code?

No. All bots are created and managed without any coding. You'll be able to build and deploy automated strategies through a visual interface.

Will I get the bot templates we build in class?

Yes. You'll receive the same starter templates used in training — ready to customize for your own ideas.

How soon can I go live?

Many traders start paper trading during the first week and are ready to go live when the intensive ends. You'll move at your own comfort level.
